These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the IronCrypto website, web application, and mobile applications (together, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms and by all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these Terms, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
IronCrypto is a password manager with client-side encryption. You sign in with your Google or Apple account and create a master password. Your master password never leaves your device: all data you store is encrypted on your device before it is sent to our servers, and neither IronCrypto nor our hosting providers can read it.
2. Your account and master password
- You are responsible for keeping your master password and the credentials of the Google or Apple account you sign in with confidential and secure.
- Because of the client-side encryption design, we cannot reset or recover your master password. If you forget it, the data encrypted with it is permanently inaccessible.
- You may delete your account at any time from the Account page. Deleting your account permanently removes your data from our servers.
3. Use license
Permission is granted to use the Service and to download the IronCrypto applications for personal, non-commercial use. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:
- copy, modify, or redistribute the materials on this website;
- use the Service to store or share content that is unlawful or that infringes the rights of others;
- attempt to probe, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or to other users' data;
- remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials.
This license terminates automatically if you violate any of these restrictions and may be terminated by IronCrypto at any time.
4. Subscriptions and payments
Core password management is free. Optional paid plans (such as IronCrypto Pro) add features like encrypted document storage. Payments are processed by Stripe; your card details never touch our servers. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from the Account page.
5. Disclaimer
The Service and the materials on this website are provided "as is". IronCrypto makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties, including without limitation implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights. IronCrypto does not warrant or make any representations concerning the accuracy, likely results, or reliability of the use of the materials on this website or on any sites linked to it.
6. Limitations of liability
In no event shall IronCrypto or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the Service, even if IronCrypto or an authorized representative has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage. Because some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties, or limitations of liability for consequential or incidental damages, these limitations may not apply to you.
7. Revisions and errata
The materials appearing on this website could include technical, typographical, or photographic errors. IronCrypto does not warrant that any of the materials on this website are accurate, complete, or current, and may make changes to them at any time without notice.
8. Links
IronCrypto has not reviewed all of the sites linked to this website and is not responsible for the contents of any linked site. The inclusion of a link does not imply endorsement by IronCrypto. Use of any linked website is at the user's own risk.
9. Modifications to these Terms
IronCrypto may revise these Terms at any time without notice. By using the Service you agree to be bound by the then-current version of these Terms.
10. Governing law
Any claim relating to the Service shall be governed by the laws of the State of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Privacy Policy
Your privacy is central to how IronCrypto is built. The Service is designed so that we hold as little readable information about you as possible. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how it is protected.
What we collect
- Account information. When you sign in with Google or Apple we receive basic profile information, such as your email address, to identify your account. We never see the password of your Google or Apple account.
- Encrypted vault data. The passwords, notes, and documents you store are encrypted on your device with keys derived from your master password before they reach our servers. We store only the encrypted form and cannot decrypt it.
- Payment information. If you subscribe to a paid plan, payments are handled by Stripe. We do not receive or store your card details.
- Technical data. Like most services, our servers keep standard request logs (such as IP address and timestamps) for security and reliability purposes.
How we use it
We use this information solely to operate, secure, and improve the Service: to authenticate you, sync your encrypted data across your devices, deliver features such as sharing, process subscriptions, and troubleshoot problems. We do not sell your personal information.
Retention and deletion
We retain your information only as long as your account exists or as needed to provide the Service. Deleting your account from the Account page permanently removes your data from our servers.
Security
Your vault is protected by client-side AES-256 encryption, and all traffic between your device and our servers is encrypted in transit. Our infrastructure runs on Google Cloud. We protect personal information with reasonable safeguards against loss, theft, and unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use, or modification.
